Non-Fiction Monday: Bird, The Definitive Visual Guide

As I’ve mentioned before, M love field guides, and we’ve been working our way through all the National Audubon Field Guides at the library. Last week, I was perusing the new arrivals shelf, and I found National Audubon’s Bird, The Definitive Visual Guide.

It is an amazingly gorgeous book filled with glossy colored pages of birds and their habitats. It even includes a CD of bird calls. We’ve already discovered several species that are new to us. The book includes an introduction that describes bird anatomy and behavior, descriptions of all major bird biomes, and descriptions of bird species. I highly recommend checking it out.  It’s a visual feast!
