After sharing the craft book shelf from on our new bookshelf, I thought I’d go ahead and share what’s on some of the other shelves. I have a section for my homeschooling resources, an eclectic collection of literature guides, educational philosophy, and curriculum resources.
Picture Perfect Childhood by Cay Gibson – I’ve used this constantly since ordering it a few months ago. Any time I’m making library requests, it is sitting by me.
The Read-Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease – another one I often pull out when looking for new picture or chapter books to introduce
For the Love of Literature by Maureen Wittmann – I just ordered this one and I’m looking forward to checking it out.
A Parent’s Guide to Gifted Children by James Webb
Creative Homeschooling: A Resource Guide for Smart Families by Lisa Rivero
The Creative Family by Amanda Blake Soule
The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise
4 sets of Bob Books – reading these has been our primary reading instruction
Reading Reflex – a phonics based reading program
Five in a Row – picture book literature study
