M and I have spent many fun moments pouring over the arresting pictures in The Deep: The Extraordinary Creatures of the Abyss by Claire Nouvian. This book is not “officially” for children but the amazing underwater photography showing unusual sea creatures, some of whom are so rare they have not been named or classified, holds interest for any age. It would make a great addition to a study of the sea or as something to enjoy flipping through on a cold afternoon.
Today’s Non-Fiction Monday Round-Up can be found at The Miss Rhumphius Effect.
Wow, that one looks good! WE have the BBC series of Planet Earth and they have an awesome deep sea one!! Happy week ahead 🙂
